Rex

Self-Introduction: Dear friends, My name is Rex Manglicmot; I am a current student at UHM, a double major in Psychology/ Biology (B.A.) and very active in the Filipino community. My hobbies are going to the beach, surfing, hiking, fishing, anything that includes water, but most of all just having a fun time. I guess you all can hint I’m adventurous kind of a guy. My strong points would have to be that I have great zeal in things that I’m very passionate in, quiet at first but as you get to know me I like to think I’m a nice guy, but most of all I’m just an easy-to-get-along-with guy.

Another part about me is that I’m in a process of preparing myself to a wondrous journey to Vietnam . I’m part of a wonderful team, the Atherton YMCA of Honolulu, and together we are going to Vietnam not only for an awesome adventure but to make a difference in a foreign country. This journey will of course be very stressful but as a team we can pull together and make it work. Each of us plays a crucial role and has a unique attribute about ourselves which will overall benefit the team. I’m going not only for the experience, but to make new friends, to build leadership skills, but most of all make a difference.
