| Self-Introduction:
Hello, my name is Caitlin Peters, and I am one of the participants of the Alternative Spring Break Program to Vietnam at the Atherton YMCA. I am a junior at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and am currently a biology student working for my Bachelor of Science degree. I am interested in attending medical school after my undergraduate studies. At the moment, I am working at the Hamilton Library at the University as a student assistant. However, I plan on getting a volunteer job at a hospital close to school.
In my spare time, I like to be outdoors.

I love going to the beach and going hiking. I like spending a lot of time with my family and friends. I also love to travel. One day, I hope to take a trip all around the world.
I am very excited to have the opportunity to travel to Vietnam with the Atherton YMCA. I want to meet new people and make new friendships, and learn about a different culture other than my own. I know that it will be a great experience for me to go to an underprivileged country to provide the children there with something that will benefit them in the future. As a future medical student, I dream of one day going to a third world country and giving them needed medical attention. I want to be able to make a difference in the lives of people.
